The area around our house offers many possibilities to enjoy the costa Brava to the fullest. We live in a quiet area but just down the road there are so many places to enjoy. We will list a couple of our favorites:

Pedreguer:
Our hometown is quite small, but offers two Mas y Mas supermarkets, plus a complete Dutch supermarket if your interested. Next to that there is a market every Sunday.
One our of favorite restaurants is Bistro LeGourmet 1930. Affordable and good food.
Jávea/Xàbia
A must do if you here, is to drive to Javea, also known as Xàbia in local Valencian. The beach boulevard (l'Arenal) is amazing, and there are so many nice places to enjoy food and drinks.
The picture on the top of this page show the Arenal and the beautiful Montgo mountain in the background.
Dénia:
The closest large town in the neighbourhood is Dénia. A very nice town with long streets full of shops, but also great places to eat. A bit north of Dénia you will find the beaches.
From here you can also take the boat to Mallorca if you wish.
Valencia:
The beautiful town of Valencia is just one hour drive from our house. Enjoy the old town and amaze yourself about the new architecture of the Arts and Science museum (Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències)
Recommended is the Ruzafa area for going out.
Portal de la Marina/Ondara
The main shopping center of the area is just a 10 minute drive. Here you will find everything you need: A big Carrefour supermarket, the Lidl, Aldi and the usual McDonald's, Burger King and KFC + Zara, H&M etc.
Alicante
The other big city in the neighbourhood is Alicante. This is also an hour drive but this time in southern direction. It might not have the grandeur of Valencia but it certainly should not be underestimated.
